Need a New Care Provider? Here’s How to Switch
If your current care no longer feels right, changing providers can help you access the support, reliability, and service you deserve.
1. Find a New Provider
Start by researching and choosing a provider that better suits your needs, preferences, and level of support with availability to take you on.
2. Notify Your Current Provider
Let your existing provider know you intend to change and review any required notice periods or exit steps (usually 2 weeks).
3. Transfer Your Care
Contact My Aged Care to request your referral code for changing providers, then give this code to your new provider when setting up your new agreement.
