What services does Focused Care provide?

We provide personalised in-home support including personal care, support at home, dementia care, respite care, nursing and clinical care, and social and community support.

What areas do you service?

Currently we cover the Perth metropolitan area including suburbs like Joondalup, Wanneroo, Duncraig, Karrinyup, and more! Please contact us to see if you are within our catchment.  

Who can access your services?

Our services are designed for older adults and individuals who require support to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Do you offer personalised care plans?

Yes, every care plan is tailored to the individual’s needs, preferences, routines, and goals.

Cost & Funding FAQ

How much do your services cost?

The cost of services depends on the type and level of support required, as well as whether you are using government funding or private services. For some pricing costs, you can visit our Pricing page here. 

Do you support clients under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)?

Unfortunately, we are not able to take on any CHSP clients, only Support at Home, DVA, VHC, NDIS, and privately funded.

Can I use private services while waiting for funding?

Yes. Many clients choose to access private services while waiting for a package. Once approved, you can also continue with additional private support if needed.

Do I pay for cancellations or missed visits?

Cancellation policies may apply depending on notice given. We will clearly outline this in your service agreement.

Services & Staff FAQ

Can I choose my support worker?

You are able to let us know your preference with your support worker and we aim to match clients with suitable carers to encourage comfort, consistency, and long-term relationships.

Are your carers qualified and experienced?

Our team members are fully qualified and carefully selected and trained to provide compassionate, professional, and high-quality care. 

Do your staff undergo background checks?

Yes, staff are required to have compliance checks including police clearances and relevant screening requirements such as NDIS screening.

Are your services available short-term or long-term?

We offer both short-term and ongoing care depending on each client’s individual needs.
